Overview

St. Cousair started making jam 35 years ago in the beautiful mountains of Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Today, our products there include pasta sauces, dressings, dipping sauces, jams and more, amounting to over 400 varieties sold at our 120 retail stores in Japan. On May 1, 2017, we opened our food production facility in Newberg, Oregon, fulfilling a dream we have had since the beginning days of our company. In Newberg, we manufacture high-quality food and beverages, using the best fruit and other ingredients from Oregon, and we plan to market them in the U.S., Japan and Asia. To increase production capacity, we are going to begin large scale construction this winter. We plan to install new equipment so that we can produce exciting and innovative products. We are looking for passionate people like you so that together we can make our dreams come true. We are a multi-cultural company with many Japanese, Spanish and English speakers. Those who can be of support in these languages are desired, but not a must.

Factory Outline

Our 22,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Newberg produces jams, syrups, BBQ sauces, pasta sauces, and other specialty foods mostly packed in glass or plastic. We have many positions open right now and are interviewing immediately to fill them. We will be hiring for Mechanics, Quality Control, Inventory Control, Cooks and Shipping and Receiving Clerks. Our working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday with longer hours during high production periods.

Temporary & On-Call Positions

In November 2017, and in February 2018, St. Cousair Oregon Orchards will undergo two phases of renovations to our production facility in Newberg. The first phase will invlove the installation of five units of new production machinery, and in February/March, the installation of 10-15 new units, along with other major renovations to our facility.

For this undertaking, St. Cousair Oregon Orchards will be seeking construction and machinery installation specialists on a temporary and possibly an on-call basis.

Wage $20-$30/hour, depending on skills and experience.
